We went camping in August by Coos Bay. We went Thursday evening and had a fun campfire and Friday was spent raining and completely dirty! We tried to keep it fun by going a couple of places, but luckily water stopped falling in the evening and Saturday we were able to go to the beach and have a nice sunny day. All ended well and Jared and I were pooped when we got home!

Rylee's first day of school! She did so wonderfully. She walked in there and was ready to go. When I picked her up she said, "How come everyone else gets to ride the bus??" She's been riding it since day two. She loves her snacks and recess and giving us updates on who got reprimanded that day.

Birthday Party!! We had Madison's birthday party last Saturday (even though her b-day is this coming Tuesday) and she has insisted that she is four ever since. Now she thinks she'll be five on Thursday! It's difficult to convince Madison of something when she has already convinced herself. We had a special tea party with hot chocolate and the kids made mini pizzas. I made a pony cake, per Madison's request and the party was a hit!

The kids were all very excited to be up there until Jared pointed out a spider above their heads...

We were taking a walk on the "loop" and Madison kept getting her wheels caught in the huge cracks.
